Christmas Tea

On Saturday we had a Ladies Christmas Tea at church, and it was just lovely!  It was attended by all of the ladies at church – including daughters.  Everyone was so pretty in their Christmas dresses.  Here are two of my little ladies – Anna didn’t want her picture taken, so this is the best I could get!

The tables were beautifully decorated and the food was delicious.  Three flavors of tea were served – candy cane, peach, and rose.  During the tea, background music was provided by many of the young ladies playing the piano or singing.  Each table did a short devotional where we shared favorite Christmas memories and traditions and encouraged each other to remember the true focus of the season – the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.  We all had a wonderful time visiting and enjoying the season together.
