Fun at Chuck E Cheese!

This week, as you know, we celebrated Anna’s 5th birthday. In our family, the birthday person gets to choose what restaurant to go out to eat at on their birthday. Anna’s choice (no surprise) was Chuck E Cheese this year, so off we went on Tuesday evening for fun, food and festivity. It turned out to be a great night to go, because most people were home waiting for election results, so we had a nice empty restaurant to enjoy.

I thought I’d share a few pictures of our evening with you.

Anna’s favorite ride is this horse racing game – there is a screen in front of her showing the track and she feels like she’s really riding down it!

Air hockey is always a family favorite.

Brothers enjoying the football game.

She likes the little horses on the merry-go-round, too.

David wasn’t too sure about this one and asked to get out before too long.

Matthew always gets tons of tickets – usually playing Skeeball – he saves most of them and I can’t even tell you how many he has accumulated over the years!

Time for cupcakes – in a princess theme, of course.

Blowing out all those candles.

And then it was present time!

Just what every princess needs – a new sparkly ball gown.

And then it was back to the games and rides.

Sarah loves this horse ride, too.

And no trip to Chuck E Cheese is complete without riding in the Chuckie car and getting your picture taken.

A good time was had by all, but especially our sweet birthday girl! Doesn’t that smile just say it all?

We have a busy weekend gearing up with an outdoor Fall Festival, basketball tryouts for 3 children, church and the first children’s choir rehearsal for Christmas. I hope that you have a lovely weekend!
