Manwich Casserole

I found this recipe a few years back online under the name “Sloppy Joes Under A Bun”. It’s quick and simple and delicious. Here is the list of ingredients –

2 lb. ground beef
2 regular cans of Manwich or 1 large can
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups Bisquick baking mix
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup milk
sesame seeds

First brown the ground beef –

Add Manwich sauce and mix well –

Spread in a lightly greased 9 x 13 casserole dish –

Sprinkle cheddar cheese over top –

In a medium bowl, mix together Bisquick, milk and eggs just until blended –

Spread dough over casserole and sprinkle top with sesame seeds –

Bake at 400 degrees for about 25 minutes until golden –

Delicious with corn and a fresh green salad!
