St. Patrick’s Day

An Old Irish Blessing
May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life’s passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!
(found at Island Ireland)

We will be having our traditional green meal for dinner tonight – Broccoli Rice Casserole, Lime Jell-o, and St. Patrick’s Day cookies –

I will be reading the history of St. Patrick to the children today. You can find the history, as well as lots of great ideas for celebrating St. Patrick’s Day here.

We will also be making shamrocks using these supplies –

I will close with another Irish prayer that is . . .

Said in the morning when rising
Christ be with me,
be after me,
be before me,
and be at my right and left hand.
May everything I do be for Christ.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone!

Blessings,
Nancy
